All services can be arranged with a payment plan and all services come with unlimited WhatsApp help and support.

Beta Reading.

I offer a beta reading service with which I will provide a full report and answer any questions that you have supplied upfront.

This service costs 60.00 pounds sterling up to 80,000 words and 75.00 pounds sterling for 80,000 up to 125,000. If there is more of a word count than that I will provide a quote.

Developmental/Content Editing.

This is the stage that focuses on the big picture, it covers plot holes, characters, pace, action sequences and timelines, and also sorts out any confusing dialogue. You get a thorough evaluation of your work any other issues that are raised get smoothed out. I work closely with the author to help with any rewrites that may need doing. This can be a lengthy process but it does done with respect and kindness to the author. This service includes a full report and help with any rewrites needed. The author also has unlimited help on WhatsApp.

£0.013 per word.

Copy Editing.

This is the process that is done after the developmental editing. This service picks up on run-on sentences, cliches, inconsistent tone, fine tuning of word choices and syntax. The idea of a copy edit is to improve the flow of your manuscript and pick up on any inconsistencies. This service includes a full report and two rounds of edits and a final clean edit after the changes have been agreed.

Proofreading.

My proofreading service includes two rounds of edits then a clean version that is emailed to you once the changes have been made. It includes checks for consistency, language used, grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax. I also check for flow and that the manuscript is written in a clear and concise manner.

£0.009 per word.

Formatting.

I will format your manuscript to the standard needed for publishing.

This is priced at £150 for a manuscript up to 80,000 words and £200 from 81,000 to 150,000.

Publishing.

I will publish the book on your behalf on Amazon or any other platform you would prefer after discussing the merits of each one.

This is a one off fee for £150.00 depending on if the document is ready and formatted to the correct sizes etc.

Marketing.

I will guide and give advice on where and how to market your book from launch parties to different social media platforms and groups. I will help you find your target audience and make a list of places where to advertise and market your book.

I have had some number one best sellers that I have done the marketing for.

Prices will be discussed depending on the size of the project.

Project Management.

This service has all the above services included in the price. It is helpful for a first time author as it takes you through every section of finishing your journey from beta reading to selling your book.

Author Coaching.

I provide 3, 6, 9 or 12 month author coaching from the first seeds of an idea through to the finished manuscript or just certain areas of your book or just to help keep you going by giving support and someone to lean on. The author has unlimited help and support on Whatsapp.

Historical Research.

If you are a historical fiction author and are stuck on certain areas of a particular era in history and need some help this is what this service is for. I can help with dates, language, food, characteristics, politics of the time, employment of the time, day to day living of the time etc.

I give an hour’s free consultation to set up what needs doing beforehand and to ascertain the facts so I can give a quote.
